Post Oak Farm wants to give neighbors an opportunity to meet each other and network so that our neighborhood can thrive and have fun. To that end, we have scheduled several social events throughout the year.

It’s time for summertime fun at the pool, so get your suits, towels, toys, pool patches, and neighbors to join the fun.

Do you have some “stuff” to sell? You know, your trash is someone else’s treasure and here’s your chance to share it.

• Lenexa Rules Garage sale signs must not exceed four square feet.
• Signs should not be placed earlier than 5 p.m. the night before the sale and must be removed by the end of the sale.
• One sign may be placed at the location of the sale and one sign may be
• placed on the private property at a subdivision entrance closest to the location of the sale.
• Signs must be placed 15 feet from the curb and are not permitted in the city’s rights of way. If they are, they may be retrieved by city personnel.

Family Fun Day

Last year the Lenexa Fire Station #1 visited our neighborhood. About 30 kids and a few brave parents were delighted in the cool mist from the fire hose.

Date: Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 12:00 – 3:00
Location: POF Pool
Who: Neighborhood Families
Bring: Swimsuits, pool patches
Menu: Hot Dogs, Chips, Nachos, Drink, Cookies
Lunch is FREE again for those who wear pool patches.
Those who don’t have a pool patch will be admitted for $3.00 each.
Activities: Lunch at 12:00 followed by Games, Bingo – 2:00 Lenexa Fire truck visit

Pancake Breakfast

As the summer wraps up and kids return to school, we say goodbye with fond memories to the good times at the pool. Come and join us for our end-of-the-season event at the pool.

We’re having a Pancake Breakfast at the pool again this year!

What’s on the menu? Pancakes with butter & syrup, juice, and coffee will be served.

This is NOT the last day the pool is open. The pool closes after Labor Day weekend.

Date: Saturday, August 11, 2012 — 9:00 – 10:30 A.M.

Cost: The Pancake breakfast is FREE again this year. Just show your pool patch.

Last Pool Day Pot Luck

Bring a covered dish or two to share as we enjoy our last day at the pool. Table service and lemonade will be provided. The inflatable slide will be up. Hoorraaaay! Monday, September 3, 2012.
